Only a small place but gives history of the "healing waters" of Harrogate and how it became such an attraction to the rich. It costs £4 but £3 if over 65. Takes an hour of your time so not a great deal of time out...More

The museum is small and compact which will not take you too long to go around. A good potted history of Harrogate with the rise and fall of the spa. It will interest both young and old.

What a fascinating insight into the history of Harrogate. We paid £3 each entrance and stayed an hour and a half which included a tour of the wells on site: good value in our opinion.

The museum is based in a historic spa building and I expected to experience more of the spa that was once there, such as the smells, the taste, actually being able to see some actual spa water that was once there. Instead there is a...More

A quick simple way to lean about the history of Harrogate as a spa town supported by a few choice exhibits, plus also a few other oddball exhibits (the Egyption collection, the bikes and more), £4 each. Odd but I liked it.
