I really enjoy these gardens. They are so well tended and cared for. It's a great place to visit whatever time of the year. We have found that the gardeners who work there are very approachable and willing to give advice about the various plants. We often visit with our young grand children, who also love going there. It's not... More

Lovely interesting garden. A great place to spend the day wandering round alone or with the family. Brilliant gift shop and plant sale area. Staff knowledgeable about products

Not massively impressed with this place. Visited with my wife and 2 young children. The park needs to increase size of playgrounds, they are only small. Places such as Chatsworth House have so much more for kids. Limited picnic areas too.

We enjoyed a lovely couple of hours viewing the blossom, the spring bulbs and even the rhododendrons that were out early in the post Easter sunshine. These gardens are lovely and a tranquil place to explore. We had a light lunch at the Betty's tearoom inside the garden and it was very nice. The RHS shop is huge, well stocked... More

It always helps when the sun is shining. These gardens are not only wonderful but also well kept and stunning. We went as the Daffs and Tulips were coming to an end, but the Rhodendron were starting to flower with some amazing colours. We joined the RHS so will be back later in the year.

A very good attraction, but can be expensive if you are not a member of the RHS, fortunately we are.

The gardens are a delight to walk around, the layout is very eye catching and colourful, good pathways make it accessible for everyone to get around. Our visit coincided with the tulips being in bloom, truly colourful to see. The woodland area is often a peaceful retreat to visit, great to eat your picnic lunch. My only negative comment is... We come here whenever we come to Harrogate. I am a RHS member so I am we are both able to have free entry, it is approx £11 each for non meme related...but would still be well worth it. It has been a few years since our last visit and they have done a lot of alternations to the layout... More
