Discovering the Market Hall within Eastgate shopping Mall we soon spotted the colourful, fragrant stall of spices. It wasn’t long before I was asking for a variety of spices when the owner said he could make up a special blend for a curry, checking if we preferred hot or mild. Even though I mix my own, I know it’s usually... More

As a regular customer of Boswells in other cities, I was not disappointed in this branch. Staff were very pleasant and the food equally as good. I had the filled potato skins and it was delicious.

With the removal of the eating area, which wasn't up to much anyway, this centre is a pretty poor shopping haven for central Gloucester. It has gained M&S and it has gained Boswells, but otherwise it's all been downhill.

When Boswells first opened in Gloucester I couldn't fault it. Fantastic service, cheerful staff, orders correct, well presented food. Sadly in more recent times this has gone downhill. Placing a food order often means having to repeat yourself several times and re-word so it is understood. Orders are coming out with mistakes and having to be corrected. This takes away... More

Eastgate Shopping Centre may not be in the same league as Westfield in London, but it still has a lot of shops and can be good to walk around. However, it closes at 5:30, as do most of the shops in the town centre. You could see this as being a bit inconvenient, as people who work would need to... More

We had our dinner in Boswell's Cafe consisting of a Ham Toastie and a Jacket Potato with Coleslaw with a pot of tea. We left well satisfied with both quantity and quality.

To be honest. We do like value for money, but this place is a no no for value. The taste is OK, but not much of it. A total waist of money in our eyes. I would recommend going into the market, and getting a good plate of food, which tastes great, for the fraction of the price. We will... More

This is a nice shopping centre in central Gloucester. There are cafés and restaurants as well. We walked here from the railwaystation through King's Walk. On the other side of the mall, just cross the street you see the tourist information if you need to go there. It's good you not only have the shopping centre to locate shops but... More

It was passable as a shopping centre but a little dated and dirty. There was litter in the telephone boxes and on the floor. Shops looked tired and in need of a good revamp. It's a shame as this place could be very nice with some tlc and investment.

Always great to go in Gloucester. Plenty of shops. Indoor market at the back is worth a look as well As there's something for everyone. Can't go without a look round here!
