The museum has a small reception area with a shop and a small cafe serving refreshments. The exhibits are displayed in what was the customs house of Gloucester and therefore space is at a premium Various rooms have videos or memorabilia of their campaigns which brings home the vivid history and the heartache encountered by the regiment

My dad was in the Glosters in Burma and then Korea. This museum covers themt from the start to the present day but of course I found the period from the 2nd World War to Korea the most interesting. Really well presented.

It is surprising how they manage to fit so much into the space available, and yet keep it accessible to all. Exceptional display of the military history of the Gloucestershire soldiers over the last 300 years, from the formation of the 28th Regiment of Foot, 61st Regiment of Foot and The Royal Gloucestershire Hussars through to The Rifles. Hard not... More

Lovely little cafe with a nice place to sit and enjoy a reasonably priced ice cream over looking the quay. Friendly staff and very clean. Would return when next visiting the shopping area.
