A few walls survive because they were incorporated into a later building (now council offices) Some interesting stonework survives. Look in if you are passing....

These ruins are quite difficult to find, and when we did find them we were somewhat disappointed. There are some ruined walls and very little else. We couldn't even find any information panels about the building.

Kept the kids entertained. That is all I need in a day out. Spent the whole day there and enjoyed every second.

Have twice supported vintage Fayre. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful buildings. A wonderful place. Music dancing on the lawn, perfect atmosphere.

This is the site of the former Greyfriars friary, located behind Eastgate Shopping Centre. It is a reasonably sized ruin, but it is impossible to gain access as entirely fenced off, no doubt for safety reasons.
