Walked around the lake for 75 mins in the company of relatives and dog walkers,public toilets were open and clean.£1 paid for two hours car park.

Love to walk around Coate Water whatever the weather, me and my partner have a leisurely walk or I power walk on my own! We sometimes take a flask and just sit and watch as it's a beautiful place just to chill!

This is a lovely walk with young children to feed the ducks, have a play in the play park. Play mini golf.

My daughters and I went to Coate water for a picnic. The sun was shining but Coate Water can be enjoyed whatever the weather. There is plenty of wildlife from swans to other water birds. Good disabled facilities and disabled parking. All ages can enjoy Coate water. Coate water is well maintained and clean. Great for dog walking as well.... More

Coats water has great walks, if you fishing & crazy golf that the place to go, it is a great family day out, also a great place to walk your dogs

We are fortunate this is local for us, so we spend many hours walking round the lakes formed from old gravel pits allowed to flood naturally. At the entrance there is a tourist office in the cafe next to Cotswold Outdoor outfitters, here you can obtain an excellent walking map it's a must have to find all the walks. Bird... More

A lovely park with a myriad of walks, toileting facilities and activities. On entering from the A4259 you have a short series of bends into a "hap hazard" car park which now charges by the hour. There is an alternative car parking area (grass) which is used when the main car park is full. The car park is not well... More

One of the best "Green" areas in Swindon - A very large Park with a Lake - lot's of walks nearby. I walk around the lake at Coate Water at least once a week and it is absolutely wonderful to have such a beautiful lake and park right on my doorstep. I consider myself very fortunate to have access to the facilities.
