Its a hill

I love walking up the Wrekin, its rewarding to get to the top, why not plan a little treat and take a glass of Prosecco to have at the top.

The Wrekin is a great small hill to climb for all the family. plenty to see and do on the way. Great Ice Cream at the halfway house. Don't forget the Needles Eye challenge just over the summit

It's not to strenuous but if you are considering taking small children with you be prepared to carry them on occasions. Happy trekking... More

A decent free car park at the bottom of this hill ensures a good start to a fairly stimulating walk to the top of The Wrekin. For most climbers it will take less than an hour to get to the place where you can get views out towards Liverpool, well into Wales and across to the Malvern Hills with everything... More

The Wrekin is great for a free day of walking or just taking the kids up for a walk and a picnic a the top. Half way up the Wrekin is a little cafe were you can sit and rest and enjoy the views, the Wrekin is also great for dog walking or runners!

Take walking shoes as the terrain in places is rough and some short sections are steep but overall the gradients are gentle. What is... More

Visited here during our stay at a nearby hotel. It was a lovely refreshing walk despite the weather.

an easy pleasant walk up the "Wrekin", it peaks at 1335ft above sea level with splendid views over Telford, Wellington, Shrewsbury and far in the distance Buttington "The Gateway To Wales. Obviously it has some inclines but it only takes 1hr to reach the summit at a steady pace (I`m 61 and my friend 67) after coming down we went... More
