My wife & I called in for some ideas & found no staff & just a few racks of leaflets, not much better than a hotel foyer.

No Staff and No leaflets for anything on in and around Bolton. Plenty for Yorkshire. I had some friends over from Germany. Nothing for them to take back with Bolton on

I have to say this food festival is up there with the best, lets start with the free parking now that bonus today. The stalls offered a great choice of quality products at affordable prices, this was a food lovers heaven. It ends on Monday so if you can get there please do its a real gem.

My husband and I visited Bolton this week. It is only about 20 minutes from our home address, we just wanted a run out and a bit of shopping. We found parking very easy, with the first hour and a half free. We had a coffee and a good walk around. The town hall is very impressive with a statue of... More

July 2013...Sadly over the past couple of years, since my last review, Bolton town centre has become a desert of pawn shops, charity shops and pound shops and as the retail life of the town centre has declined the population have voted with their feet. and gone elsewhere.
