Lovely views with a lake that is occupied with Swans Geese and ducks. Great walks either by the river or in woodland. The park facilities are great for kids plus plenty of room for picnics. Toilets available most days but no cafe. Great for walking dogs. Parking facilities available and disabled parking areas. Wheel chair accessible. They also have a... More

Have visited on a number of occasions and enjoyed it. Not going again- grandchildren petrified by the numerous vicious geese that surrounded them when we were trying to feed ducks.

Beautiful nature, peaceful surroundings and amazing air quality, perfect day out for pregnant women, children, families with pets and elderly people. Very therapeutic for anyone seeking weekend relaxation after a stressful week. Great picnic spot in the summer.

Moses gate has so much to offer if you venture from the popular parts. Yes the duck lakes and the kiddies park are great but if you follow the paths round there us plenty of woodland for the kids to get back to doing what we did as kids, by exploring, climbing, den making and having great good old fashioned... Located close to Bolton city centre, this park offers a lot to visitors. There is plenty of parking available, including that for disabled visitors. There are miles of pathways to explore, many suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. There is a well-equiped play park with toilets close by. It would take more than one visit to explore it all! Remember to take... More

Lovely plenty of wild life if you take the time to look, always cheers me up ,rockhall house is not open any more and no rangers but its still a lovely clean park due to council and volunteers. There are free toilets which I have always found clean, plenty of benches to sit on . If you're walking can be a bit... More

Good for a few hours and even better when they have their activity days. need to keep an eye out for advertisements. Plenty of tracks to cycle, walk your dog, just walk around. feed the ducks or enjoy the large play park.

Feed the ducks and swans. Watch as hundreds come flocking. Quite scary. Has a nature garden, stepping stones and lots of great walks. Really popular playground. Has toilets which are normally open peak times. Ice cream van normally there too. Just short of a cafe really. Plentiful parking too.

I've been here a few times but not with my family. Today we all went - 7 year old, dog and husband. Strayed from the main path a bit and the dog got really muddy. Took him to the river for a wash. We all ended up crossing over the river barefoot to get to the more paved side. Felt... More
