Really nice walk around the lake. Plenty of facilities too, went boating on the lake and did the Crazy Golf. They also have High Ropes. Kids played in the kids play area and loved it. Great park for a picnic and a kick about. Will definitely come again.

Never been here before, wish I knew of this place sooner! A path that took you around the large lake, had to turn back as it was getting dark as we went in the evening and didn’t realise just how long the lake was. Will be returning as it was a nice, quiet park and seems perfect to take a walk during lockdown.

I've known Mote Park since the late seventies having grown up nearby and can honestly say it has never looked worse, the once beautiful parkland has been severely degraded by unnecessary hard paths being laid all over the place but more serious is the utter neglect of what used to be neatly mowed grass but is now in places a horribly ugly mess of unkempt brambles, trees are also running wild turning what used to be long grass areas that were rich in insects into dense thickets of unmanaged trees. If you could look at the place as it was in the past you would see a huge difference. As for Maidstone Borough Council who 'manage' the place, there is a clue in the word PARK: it is meant to be a park, not some piece of scrubland that is increasingly left to its own devices. Parks without proper maintenance soon become not much better than waste ground, its truly disgraceful the state it has been allowed to sink to.

Park is amazing. However shame paid parking came in force couple years ago. Unfortunately they dont have swings for disabled people who can not leave wheelchair... (safety reasons) 🙄 And the huge wire climbing adventure aperantly isn't dangerous.

Went for a walk around the park. It's so pretty around the lake and romantic. Recommend taking a picnic and walking around for a quiet spot.
