I would recommend a visit to Brodsworth hall, the Gardens are second to none they are so beautifully kept and improve year on year. There are formal gardens and the more relaxed gardens. The scones in the cafe are delishhh. If its raining you can...More

The gardens need visiting several times in different seasons to appreciate them. A walk around the Rose Garden when the roses are in full bloom is an experience - the scent of roses hanging on the air as you walk under the central arches is...More

English Heritage still has a lot of work to do restoring the house. We hope to return in the future to see more of its glory. Bt the restored gardens are beautiful, the topiary spectacular. Unfortunately in life May we were too early for roses...More

We visited Brodsworth as a stopping off point on a trip from Newcastle to Birmingham. It is very easily accessible, only 5 minutes off the motorway and with very clean toilets, a tea room and an Adventure Playground is a much nicer stop than a...More

This was our first visit and, as life members, we all had free entry. I think we would have been very nonplussed if we had paid full price but were unable to see much of downstairs due to the massive work being undertaken Staff were...More

Enjoyed an excellent day out to Brodsworth by coach today. Some passengers were not happy about the works in progress but these essential works demonstrate the lengths that conservators have to go to to keep the property sound and safe, particularly against rain and damp...More

Amazing gardens - impressive formal gardens with incredible colours and shapes....exciting hidden gardens, bridges, tunnels, houses and a fab play park. Perfect for little ones (and big kids too!)

Member of national trust, and just visited Christmas market 10th Dec with family. Very disappointed with lack of stalls and Christmas cheer, have booked for enchanted evening in gardens next week sincerely hope this will be better especially as costs incurred to bring grandchildren. Good job fine day so could at least walk around the gardens although not much to admire in winter. Called in cafe for a warming refreshment but poor service as only limited staff buy plenty of customers. Signed disappointed member.
