This is a MOST lovely garden(s) to visit. We visited in June and really loved it - don't miss walking out between the tall hedges for the spectacular countryside view. Words can't do justice to this place - it is magical

I've visited here several times now, it's lovely to see the changing seasons and the Autumn leaves did not disappoint on this visit, still lots off beautiful flowers in the gardens even for this time of year. Lots of roped off areas when I visited...More

I think we saw this place on TV and decided it was worth a look. And it is! We went on my birthday as my birthday outing! The man who put it all together, one Laurence Johnstone, had a wonderful vision and created these lovely...More

Visited here twice this week whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds in early October. Despite the time of year, the gardens were still interesting and full of colours. With so many side paths and routes, it was possible to feel almost alone. Great places for...More

We visited out of season so the garden was not at its best. However it was still well worth the visit, and I expect it would be spectacular at it's best. Lots of very interesting plants and well laid out. Any garden lover should visit.

I'm not a gardener or particular lover of plants so a garden wouldn't be top of my agenda, but as NT members and being on holiday in the area decided to visit. Arrived as it opened and enjoyed peacefully wandering the many 'rooms' of gardens...More

We were fortunate that the day we had planned to visit Hidcote was fine and sunny. We spend over five hours just visiting and admiring the many beautiful gardens and areas in the site. The introductory talk about the history of the family and gardens...More

I first visited Hidcote many years ago and was blown away by its elegance and beauty. How disappointing then, to find that it was but a shadow of its former self, when we visited this September. Later in the day we visited Kiftsgate which was...More

It is many years since we last visited Hidcote Manor Garden. The whole gardens are beautiful laid out and although it was wet we walked round most of the gardens, they must be spectacular in spring.

I've always wanted to see Hidcote and wasn't disappointed. The gardens may be overwhelming until you get a feel for the maps and locations of what you want to see. I highly recommend.

there are areas which are flat but some areas are not accessible with a scooter as they have steps or really small path ways, the cafes are all on flat land and the first section is flat also, so it is worth it going but be... More

Hi Littlesister75, we generally recommend a two hour stay here at Hidcote, and the same at Kiftsgate. If you start your day here with us you can walk down the lane to get to Kiftsgate. We look forward to seeing you in May!
