    Exhilarating walk!
Exhilarating walk up to the tower. Fortunately we opted to take the alternative route up a rather steep climb. In total we walked 9.7 miles as we took a wrong turn but were fortunate to meet a lovely couple who showed us the way. When we eventually arrived it was well worth the view but we were certainly not going to pay £12 each to walk up a tower that was covered in scaffolding. This is really overpriced for what you get if you compare the cost of admission into a stately National Trust house. The restaurant was busy and the coffee good not great but good enough. The loos were very busy and not exactly clean. However I do recommend the walk up to the tower.

    Worth the hike
We were staying in nearby (50 minute walk) West End, Broadway. The walk through the woods and fields up to the Tower was well worth the climb. We rewarded ourselves with coffee and cake and took in the terrific view. Lovely clean and modern cafe. A bonus was the herd of Red Deer adjacent to the cafe being fed by their keeper. We didn’t go into the Tower as we felt the price was far too high, one price for the grounds and an extra to climb the tower. A single lower price may have tempted us but to be honest we got so much from the walk and free views the tower was an unnecessary extra. 1000+ ft above sea level.

Lovely walk along the Cotswolds Way
Walked from Chipping Campden to Broadway along the Cotswolds Way, which passes right by The Tower. Sadly drizzle & low mist tainted the view, but on a clear day you would have fabulous open views across The Cotswolds & Broadway. Lovely walk along varied terrain. At this time of year very muddy and slippery so walking boots are a must. There is parking and a cafe at the Tower, but we did not utilise these facilities as not directly on our route. There is a circular route around the grounds - again we passed by it - but I'm sure it would be worth doing if you have good mobility (slightly steep in places).

I read a review where someone had not paid while they were there and they said they would have been disappointed if they had paid, well I think they were being mean, we paid to park and use their very well laid out walking paths plus the cafe which was lovely , very nice staff good food excellent coffee, the walk was beautiful and good underfoot, we didn’t go up the tower or into the Nuclear bunker because we didn’t have time but we paid a total of £5.50 each to wander on their land and park the car( it was for 4hours) and use the loo, obviously it’s dearer to go in the buildings but it wasn’t that extortionate, I would say it’s a good day out if you do the walk, go up the tower, into the bunker and have a drink ect. Not cheap but nowhere is and enough to do for a family. Very professional set up .

A nice walk from Chipping Campden to Broadway Tower in an easy terrain. We went on a Sunday, and there were lots of people walking the trails, both locals and tourists.
Broadway tower is well worth a visit. You can buy tickets to go inside.
After Broadway Tower we walked to the town Broadway where we hoped to stop for some afternoon tea, but the place was so crowded so we headed back to Chipping Campden.

Did the Cotswold Way walk up and back down from Broadway Tower and would recommend to others. Quite a walk up hill to ther tower on some uneven ground but well worth it when you get to top.

We took the 9:40 bus from in front of Town Hall in Chipping Campden - 2 pounds - to Broadway and walked back - around 6 miles. It is relatively uphill, though not too bad, from Broadway up to the Tower. We did not bother climbing up, didn’t see the point since you already have fantastic vistas. From the Tower, it’s a lovely downhill amble back to Chipping Campden. Stop at the cafe next to the Tower instead - just lovely.

They say walk to Broadway Tower...whereas "hike" might be a better term...ha. If you are in good shape, walk alot and have good walking boots...it is a healthy experience and the view at the top and the tower view is well worth it. If you are frail and /or have breathing issues...you might wish to view it on-line.

Started out in the fog and emerged above it to fantastic and atmospheric views. Followed the Cotswolds Way Circular Walk, and although a steep climb up, it’s well worth it! Broadway is also a great village to visit, with lovely cafes, shops and a delicatessen to die for.
