Stopped here after walking up to Dover's Hill. The interior looked inviting enough, the menu looked promising however the food was very poor and if we were asked for some feedback, this is what I would have said. The onion bhaji was reheated and didn't tasted of much. The satay chicken looked good but wasn't warm and was slightly undercooked. It also didn't taste of much, I barely ate any of it. The chips were not cooked, we sent them back in the first instance. When they came back to the table, they were not nice at all. The chips seemed to have been cooked in stale fat and so tasted and smelled odd, I also didn't eat very many. I was hoping that the waiter would ask for some feedback upon clearing the table but this didn't happen. While paying for our meal, my partner did say that the meal wasn't very enjoyable and the response was that we should have said something before which isn't the best response. Not wanting to make a fuss, we payed the bill and left. In hindsight, I wouldn't have payed for the food as it was really inedible. Dover’s Bar is situated in the Noel Arm Hotel which is located on Chipping Campden’s High Street. The bar offers all the spirits, wine, ciders, and beers that one might expect in a typical pub. The interior is comfortable, nicely appointed and appears to be dog friendly. Dover’s Bar offers a lovely dining menu as it seems to be an extension of the restaurant that is located in the Noel Arms Hotel. There are also a number of Indian-style curries that our family found to be delicious. Dover’s seems to attract locals and tourists alike and is worth considering if you hungry or thirsty and in Chipping Campden.…

After reading these reviews our expectations were not too high BUT do not let these comments put you off. The staff were more than friendly and efficient and went out of their way to help us. We had a very enjoyable evening in this bar, thank you.

Went in for lunch time drinks, sat by a lovely fire with our little dog, had a glass of Mulled wine which was excellent, my husband enjoyed his beer also. There was no one attending the bar when we went in and had to go and find someone, but otherwise The bar was busy with a great atmosphere…

We had dinner here and I loved the Indian food. However, the staff was really nasty. They were insolent when/if they spoke to you. But mostly they ignored our group of four. When we asked for extra food/bill we had to walk around to find the three staff present.
