A lovely old small market hall
Sep 2021
A lovely old small market hall owned and preserved by the national trust. In the centre of a lovely village that is not to be missed when in this part of the Cotswolds.

Quick visit
Jul 2021 • Family
Had a quick visit here after going to Snowshill Manor. Wouldnt have come if it was out of the way and not worth a special visit but the town itself is nice and this was nice to see

Historical Market Hall.....
Dec 2020
We visited this small town primarily to see the market hall. It is an amazing historical structure with an original cobblestone floor.

Recommended, but only if in the area.

Focal point
Sep 2020 • Couples
The old market hall dating from the 1600s is the focal point of the high street. It stands in the middle of the town and is a visual history of the place.

AN ANCIENT OPEN-AIR MARKET HALL
Sep 2020
It is what it says: there’s no interpretation/information boards. Worth a few moments if you are in the town.

AN INSTITUTION OF CHIPPING CAMPDEN!
Nov 2019
I remember as a youngster when we visited the West Country, Chipping Campden was our “halfway house”, with no motorways in those days!
I always was inquisitive about the Market Hall, as it stood so proud in the centre of the village. Luckily my parents explained it all to me.
Fifty years on, and it’s so nice to see again, in all its splendour, as I say an institution of Chipping Campden.

Interesting historical building
Jan 2020 • Couples
We visited Chipping Campden primarily for a famous kitchen shop but took the opportunity to see some of the sights. This central old building is one of the prime such, and definitely worth some of your time.

Historical center of town
Apr 2019 • Couples
Standing inside the structure, you can well imagine the chaotic scenes of the past, with sheep, produce and other goods passing through this spot.

Start line
Sep 2019
Chipping Campden Market Hall is of historical significance and marks the start (or finish) of the Cotswold Way Walk. Pavement plaque set into pavement marks the start line.
