Visited Oldham for a leisure trip just to find out the weather to be this bad. Since Oldham is at a higher level than Manchester city centre, you will find this place to be cooler than other surrounding areas. Oldham is famous for its theatrical...More

Lots of edgy shops on this street, don't be put off that it looks run down, it's a cool place to go for a wander. I like to browse the music stores that have a good selection of vinyl. A few vintage shops as well...More

Called in last month. Was actually there a year ago too - but didn't know the name then. Great draught ale, great staff, clean toilets. A+++ would drink there again.

This street is often full of alcoholics and smack heads. It's the most unpleasant street in the city centre. Beggars in abundance blagging smokes and coins. It's bad enough during the day, but at night it can be really creepy.

Been here a few times now. Spent most of last weekend there while we were in town watching a band. The staff are really cool including one who gave us a free shot of something (it may have been a Tia Maria and Bailey's layered...More

This street has quite a few good, small, live music venues. It also has a lot of lower end retail shops. There is certainly more of an edge to this street and the trendy Alec's palace remains a favourite to many and is quite a...More
