The name "gardens" is a misnomer as there are no actual gardens here. There used to be before the city council dug it all up & replaced it with fountains and concrete and put a tram service through it. Anyhow, its functional and kids like...More

If it wasn't for the food stalls I am afraid the gardens are not much of an attraction. Nice statue and a pleasant water feature but I feel more could be done.

It looks like Alexanderplatz in Berlin but without the history and charm. Really needs some re-development to solve the problems.

Beautiful and very vibrant at night which delighted us - being from Sheffield, the city centre appears to be so quiet at night in comparison. Loved the fountains.
