The park itself is nicely laid out with shrubs and trees, a grassy area with seating (and portable radios). There is a small cafe too. Also the visit may be extended into a wetland area, so long as you have the right footwear, and to even longer walks which we did not explore. There are also tennis courts which can... More

A very surprising lovely corner of a busy town. Its not far from Didsbury village tucked away behind The Didsbury Pub. The Orchid House is brilliant.

Lovely gardens, rockery inc pond featuring terrapins! A good way of getting to the Mersey of you fancy more of a stroll.... if not there is a cafe and also tennis courts both grass and shale. Lovely on a sunny day!

My family and I have been many times to this haven of quietness and peace. If ever you are in the area please call in and visit the gardens and the cafe. What a beautiful area to come and while away an hour or two in the peace and tranquillity of this place. You won't be disappointed.

I have visited these gardens many times over the years but on this visit was very saddened to see the amount of neglect, with everything overgrown and so many weeds everywhere. Unfortunatley it is no longer a 'botanical'. Such a shame
