Brilliant venue for shows and concerts. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the seats need to be a bit more comfy as I have a bad back and a little more leg room. But I... read more

Genuinely gutted about the Apollo now. It used to be far and away the best comedy gig arena in Manchester. Went to see Jimmy Carr a the weekend and found out they have changed the seating in the stalls. Sadly they have gone down the route of "pack them in like cattle". The seats they have put in leave absolutely... More

Brilliant venue for shows and concerts. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the seats need to be a bit more comfy as I have a bad back and a little more leg room. But I would still return for future shows

First visit to this venue as we had tickets to a comedy show. Despite the number of people attending, we were quickly checked in and allowed to be seated. The venue is as you would expect, nothing too spectacular but all in all a good experience.

Came to town to see Elbow, it was a mind blowingly energetic engaged riot of fun!! Love that there is standing room and seating and a fair range of pricing. Really cool stage & theater and good ventilation so you aren't sweating like cattle! The acoustics were fabulous and the crowd was fun and on pointe! I know it has... More

Went here recently and I was impressed by the apollo didn't realise how big it was inside. Good access. Only down side to our trip which is no reflection on the apollo but the car park over the road is terrible we paid £7 only foe us and other cars to be blocked in by other vehicles because to parking... I bought tickets for my husbands birthday treat and he was so looking forward it. We arrived early in the morning as it was a full 10hours event starting at 10.00am. Great seats, great view of the stage, it was perfect. The venue was full of character the large screen easily viewed, sound was great too. His son's band played... More

I was there as part of a group from India to organize a film based dance & music event. The venue was superb with facilities including excellent back stage, idea camera points, power back up etc. On the part of the viewer, the venue offered clear view of stage from all corners as well as from the balcony. The staff... More

Our journey to the venue at 1845pm took just over a hour ,due to rush hour volume of traffic, and we arrived in good time to see the show start at 1930pm. We parked locally and then joined the chaos in the foyer before taking our seats in the stalls. Michael Ball and Alfie Boe then treated us to a... More

We went to see Ball & Boe concert, which was amazing. The venue itself was great, full of character and great acoustics for this type of show. Only negatives were £2 for a bottle for water is a bit steep and we weren't allowed to put the top back on to keep it safe. The other thing was that there... More

Went to see the human league here with mates. Bit out of town, about a 15 min walk to Piccadilly Station. Considering the age group was a friendly 40+ bunch & the place wasn't busy, the "security" staff were a little over zealous to say the least. Don't stand there, wait here, queue here etc etc.Like being back at school!... More
