Having tried for 3 days to book by phone for a groupon deal for afternoon tea with my elderly mother we decided to just go on Friday. Arriving we were met with the proprietor of the "cafe" who was really not helpful at all. She would take no responsibility for the lack of being able to ring, would not hear... More

What a little gem! On a dreary miserable day paid a visit to the cafe for afternoon tea. What amazing value and wonderful homemade cakes. The staff couldn't have been nicer and I got to bring home what I couldn't eat. Very welcoming and they've even got the papers! Definitely be back,,

I love browsing around antiques shops and the antiques village at Levenshulme was no exception. The building is huge with 2 floors of treasure, unfortunately I think the sellers are a bit delusional with thier pricing. I wouldnt class most of the furniture as antique, lots of upcycled cheap pine and hugely overpriced. I tried to barter with one seller... More

This is a great place with fantastic staff and the food is the best value out there. We have had afternoon teas in some very expensive hotels in the Lake District that don't come anywhere near the offering of the Village Tea Rooms. I can not understand any of the other negative feedbacks. It is clean, and cosy, but if... More

lovely food spoilt by the rudeness of the manageress. she really could do with going to charm school. she already has a diploma in embarrassing customers. funnily enough all the bad reviews are Groupon customers.

Fascinating to have a wander round and see what this Antiques Village has to offer. Well run, well stocked. Easy to find in Levenshulme area. They also have a place for 'Afternoon Tea' but you need to book
