Lived in Manchester all my life and it's the first time I've been in here today. Really pleasantly surprised. Nicer on the inside than what it looks from the outside. Two of the seating areas have real fires roaring which makes a big difference and adds loads of character. Will be revisiting

First of all I find it shocking that this pub feels that it's OK to cancel happy hour throughout December, obviously they really value their customers? What's even worse is that there's signs up saying as much which might as well just say we've increased our prices to rip you off cos it's Christmas! No class. Secondly we witnessed a... More

Had a few drinks with work colleagues last night...nice pub but a tad expensive, especially for Holt's bitter! Bar staff very friendly but the black shaven headed doorman needs a major talking to, ignorant isn't the word. He took a stool away from a couple of lads on the next table even though they repeatedly told him one of their... More

We went in here after lunch at Albert's Shed and as the Christmas Markets are on in Manchester we knew everywhere would be busy and we were correct. We managed to get a seats so we sat and enjoyed a few glasses of wine. The ambience was good due to lots of Christmas revellers. It is a old fashioned pub... More

Had a lovely afternoon in the city centre catching up with family and going for a meal over the road from this pub. There was myself, partner, auntie and uncle. We decided to have one drink in the pub before we all went home. Everything was fine and we had our drinks sat at a table chatting when my partner... More
