It was a shame that weather was so bad. It poured and rained the whole day. We couldn't even go for a walk. But it seems quite impressive. Better luck next time I suppose.

Ok to have seen, but might as well admire it from down below while sipping coffee. The lion can be difficult to get good pictures of, it needs a specific angle and light to come to life in your pictures.

You pay 1 eu. To be right under the Lion. It is not a tourist destination for most, so this place is very quite. You could see a vista of old town of Belfort.

My Hubster & I were on vacay- but he works in Belfort. He coerced me to walk up to see the Lion (wow!) and then continue to the top of the fort! Totally amazing views from the top! We really enjoyed it!
