Nicolle picked us up from our hotel and toured us through the left bank one day and the right the other, both days we explored local chateau's and learned so much about the terrior in Bordeaux. We met local wine makers who clearly adore and respect Nicolle's friendship and knowledge. My initial goal when planning this trip was to go... More

Our group of 6 booked a two day tour with Nicole visiting Medoc at Nicoles suggestion, and Graves which we chose as we wanted to check out Sauterne. Nicole was great, from the initial organising and choice of Chateau to arranging the minibus hire (even acting as our accomodation transfer from Bordeaux to St.Emillion). Nicole is clearly very knowledgable, but... More

My husband and I booked this tour to save time and hassles. We got so much more than expected. It was fun, interesting, informative (like we feel like wine experts after every step of the harvest!) The pace was perfect. We learned so much from the tastings. We had fabulous lunches. There is so much more to say about the... More

Bordeaux is a small world and I very much enjoy sharing my passion with like-minded wonderful people who love not only wine but the world that goes with it. People are what make wines great and it makes it an extra special experience to be able to meet the winemakers face-to-face, to feel their life and passion and share the... More

We booked a two day tour to cover both the left and right banks of Bordeaux. We were a group of four, and while not experts, we were all knowledgeable about the area's wines based on our own education/interests. From the moment Nicolle picked us up (actually drove our car) she provided useful information on the terroir, geography, wine making,... More

We booked 2 days with Nicolle. We had a fantastic time with our two guides. First day we visited the left bank of Medoc - Bordeaux with Antonio one of Nicolle’s guides. We had an amazing experience and learned a great deal. Antonio was very knowledgeable and passionate about the craft and business about wine. Second day with Sylvia, on... More

Booked a 2 day trip with Nicolle. There were 9 of us on the first day, including 3 kids. Nicolle made up an IT that fit all ages and interests. First day was St. Emillon where we visited 3 wineries and got to meet the principal wine makers or owners. These not as well known wineries were very interesting and... More

A grower herself, Nicolle has all the pedigree and flair to knowledgeably open up Bordeaux's vinicultural mysteries. She guided eight of us and a four-year-old through St Emilion's legacy, Pomerol and out into the countryside for an delicious jaunt. From those wines one simply needs to experience 'chez le vigneron', to lunches in palatial surrounds, and even a look at... More

Recently booked the Viking Forseti Bordeaux trip and found SIP wine tours when looking for an alternative to the boat's excursions. Nicholle was wonderful to work with and she set us up for a day with her colleague Sylvie. Sylvie took us all over the area around St. Emilion. We went to two wineries for tours and tastings - the... I convinced 5 friends to join me on a 3 day, jam packed wine tour with Nicolle Croft of SIP Wine Tours. She was fabulous! Each day started at about 8:30 am with pick up from our hotel in Bordeaux, and ended at about 6 pm. The days were filled with information on the region, the terrior, and wonderful wine... More

If you are going to Bordeaux and want to taste wine and meet the vintners, book a guided trip with Nicole. She is absolutely fabulous and incredibly knowledgable. Also, a great deal of fun! Our group did 3 days of touring in the many regions of the wine country, including St. Emilion, Sauternes, Pessac Leognan, Margaux and Pomerol. Nicole arranged... More
