What a climb to the top but what a view when you get there. It was well worth the physical effort and there are plenty of interesting features to stop and investigate on the way. There is a wonderful panorama over the city from the top as well as a fascinating view up into the actual spire, the haunt of... More

The church is a listed historical monument and the tower can be visited. The church is located in the middle of a nice square surrounding with cafes, restaurants and Moroccan, Turkish and Egypt shops. Also, some days within the week a flea market take place in the square with a big variety of products.

This small church is in the middle of the arab quarter. It is surrounded by a large market place and there is an amazing statue of the archangel michael. A small stall inside has professional photographs for sale at very cheap prices. The area outside is worth visiting as it has dozens of morroccan shops. Great place to replace broken... More

Long flights of stairs to top of tower, but great views. Interesting display in basement about mummified remains. Different - but pricey

We like to climb stuff when we visit cities, and this was worth the effort, given Bordeaux is flat. Its easy to spot the other building s worth seeing

The setting, in a spacious square, makes this even more impressive. Many cafes around to sit and just marvel at the detail. Breath taking at night when it's lit up.

Yes, it is just another tower with lots of steps, but we thought it was fun and fascinating. Lovely and impressive spire at the top. Could be better, better view of bells and more areas open, but it was OK for us.

Between the three levels - 114 meters - there are total of 250 steps which goes up/down circularly. Senior only pays €3.50 instead of the full price of €5 per person. There is an English description available at the entrance. Other than the height, there are not much to see inside. However, once made it to the top, you will... More
