It’s an expansive beach with hard packed sand and magnificent rock formations that run the length of the shoreline. Whether you want to sun, stroll, surf, or walk along taking an endless number of scenic photographs, this beach is not to be missed.

The scenery by the beach is absolutely breathtaking. Despite the cold weather when I went, I still ran into the water because it was so stunning. Gorgeous rocks and a very long stretch of beautiful sands. A must-see!

We visited for the day, mid July, so it was very crowded on the promenade and the beach. We really enjoyed our lunch and watching people go by, but the highlight was walking along the sea-just incredible views. We all decided we wouldn't want to...More

Not crowded, good if you like surf. Nice sand for building castles. Free shuttle to and from center of town.

Beautiful sandy beach with clear blue water (on a sunny day). Only downsides are there is no beach at high tide and there are over 200 steps down to the beach but it's worth the effort.

Well worth the climb up the lighthouse, pick a clear day to get the best views. The lighthouse has restricted entry due to the crowds so go early or be prepared to wait.

Sorry for the late response. It will be very hot during the day but hoodie kind of night. Bring a spring suit if you're surfing, might be too cold for boardshorts. Have fun!!!

Hi I was here 3 weeks ago. Locals were swimming in. 15C water. Or surfers in surf suites. It should definitely be warmer in August. In big, open beaches there are big waves (surfers' paradise), but amongst the many hidden... More
