Starting downstairs, there's a small but comprehensive ancient Egyptian collection. Then taking the stairs upstairs, the collection is arranged by theme rather than by era and so modern works sit side by side with old masters. It's interesting!

A pleasant enough experience, definitely worth a look on a rainy day.. There are regular special exhibitions which change from time to time.

This is a smallish collection of average artwork. There are a few, less known pieces, by masters but overall the collection is just ok. There is a very small ancient artefacts collection also. By no means a must see.

We stayed at the museum for 11/2 hour. We were not very much impressed by the collection. Although there were some works from impresionists that were relay nice to see. The temporary presentation was nice, but because of the lack of English information it was...More

The museum is in the centre of town and costs €6.00 for adult entry. It is a very large museum so it is convenient that it is possible to leave and re-enter at any point in the same day. A great deal of thought and...More

I'm so glad I decided to take a later train and wander around this museum. The collection of contemporary art is really cool, and not at all repetitive of what you may have already seen in Paris.

It skulks in a shabby looking part of Rue Emile Zola. The bus stop over the road is the only indication of its presence. A tiny sign on the front door confirms your suspicions. This is the place. You've won the hide-and seek. For all...More

The building itself is worth seeing plus the interesting display of arts. Definitely worth spending an hour checking out.

For art lovers this museum is well worth the 6 euro admission. It is not a spectacular, greatest hits- style collection but a solid review of the history of French art over the last 500 years.
