Very interesting overview of wine, its history, and the people who produce not just the wine, but barrels, bottles and equipment.

Not only are there examples of old presses and tools the historic charge of meterological impacts over the years on production are interesting. The buildings are also historic being the home of the Ducs de Bougogne.

A very interesting museum covering all aspects of wine making over the years. We visited the museum as apart of a 3 venue ticket (the Hospice and the Art museum were the other 2 venues). Very good!

We came here because we bought a combination ticket at the Hostpital. Nice building but not much to see or learn. Probably best for schools

This is a well laid out museum taking you all the way through the wine-making process. My only criticism is that a lot of the information was only in French.

We saw all things wine-growing-related + 2 Roman urns from 1st or 2nd century...also a barrel-making film from 1950's showing how labor intensive it was...
