Great selection of goods and the indoor market was wonderful especially Maison Ramel who had a wonderful selection of food. Antique vendors have a great selection especially silver at good prices.

We enjoyed wandering around the local market. So many unique foods to see. Everything looked so fresh and delicious.

Visited these local markets and after reading reviews on TripAdvisor was expecting a great morning. Spent about 1 hour walking around the markets they were OK. Yes lots of locals use these markets to purchase fruit, vegetables, meats, seafood and cheese however this market is similar to markets you find in other places. A reasonable amount of cafes and restaurants... More

We were lucky enough to be in Dijon for market day. What an incredible array of foods in the market hall - everything you could wish for. The outside stalls offered a variety of goods from cheap imports to local handicrafts & antiques & produce.

In truth my expectations of this market were too high, thus I was a bit disappointed. The stalls inside the covered market were nice, a good variety of foods, didn't feel anything was very special. The fish stall had flies and this was a turn off. I was told that the covered market was designed by Effiell. Most disappointing were... More

The range and quality of food on offer is amazing. Cheese choice in particular is outstanding. Look where the locals shop. One had a big queue which must tell you something! I would shop here everyday if I could. Lots of stalls set up outside selling a range of goods and many cafes surrounding the market. It's only on Tuesday,... More

This market has it all. It's a tad big for my liking. I prefer a smaller, more homey market like the one in Avignon. You can find it all here. Definitely check it out. Tons of outside vendors as well. Ya gotta love European markets. I wish more Canadian cities did this.

Great produce, meats and cheeses, but no market eating places. Just one popular wine bar. Plenty of cafes around but none in market. Only open Tuesday,Thursday ,Friday, and Saturday. Most vendors shut down well before 1pm.
