Good insight into past history, well laid out and with explanatory booklet in English if required. Covers off on a lot of French history and the way of life in years now past.

Lots of opportunities to see the life of "regular" folks rather than the rich and powerful. Very interesting everyday objects.

This museum, which is free, provides an excellent exhibition of Dijon life in the past. It is worth taking a deviation from the regular 'owl' route to take in this museum.
