The only one of its kind in Champagne , this Elizabethan-style estate was conceived and built by Mrs Pommery in the 19th century! Take a guided tour of the cellars for a peek into some of our Gallo-Roman chalk quarries and our contemporary art exhibit.

Having organised a tour at a particular time, we arrived early and sought to either have a meal and wait or to bring forward our tour time. As with most Champagne houses in Reims they do Champagne and Champagne alone. I was unable to even...More

Was advised to take a champagne tour and was not disappointed. The history of Madame Pommery and present day champagne techniques are brilliant. Apparently 4 million bottles are down in 18 kilometres of tunnels, whilst down there you can't helping thinking you're in a WW2...More

If you visit one champagne house, let it be Pommery, not necessarily for the champers but the cellars. Originating from the Roman period, they really are amazing. Pommery sets art exhibitions in the long cellars to give tourists additional things to see and admire. The...More

We visited 3 caves and this one was the best one. Not only the guide was great - her accent was very strong, but she was extremely nice and trying so hard. They use the cave as an art exhibition - so double hit -...More

We really enjoyed the tour. The Pommery House is a wonderful building, though a bit quirky and quite imposing. Our guide was informative, friendly and polite, though it was sometimes hard to understand all that was said. The caves were amazing and the history behind...More

Pommery is one of the more commercial champagne houses, which has its advantages and disadvantages. The former outweigh the latter though. The tour through their cellars is excellent and certainly a must do when visiting the Champagne region. Main disadvantage is that their champagnes are...More

I was a little bummed that the entire visit on this gorgeous property only took you to the cellars underground. Our guide only spent about 5 minutes explaining the champagne making process pre-bottle, and we didn't get to see anything in terms of their large-scale...More

An amazing tour and history. It's an incredible cave network filled with creative sculptures. The fact it's the first cellar door open to the public ever in Reims makes it worth visiting. Well priced informative tour with well priced bottles at the end. Highly recommend.

My husband and I visited the Pommery Champagne house. It can be difficult to decide which houses to visit, as there are so many, but this was by the far the best one we saw. The tour guide was great, friendly and informative. The added...More
