Probably would be better if you could hop on and off but as it is the train does take you on a circuit of Ajaccio's most interesting sites. stops at the Place d'Austerlitz for time enough to reach the top of the imposing monument and...More

Unless you are a fan of Napoleon, this tour is a waste of time. You are crammed into tram cars, 4 to a row. You do not have individual head sets, so you have to wait for your language to be spoken to know what...More

I was in Ajaccio on a cruise. You have to buy your ticket before you get on the train. Not everyone who bought a ticket managed to get a seat. A good way to get up the hill Place D’Austerlitz where there was a stop...More

Great sightseeing tour around the centre of Ajaccio, including the old port and steep cobbled backstreets and down the narrow street where Napoleon lived, packed with pavement cafés and restaurants, so close that we could have helped ourselves to the olives! There was a stop...More

Instead of spending EUR10 for a braindead train ride, wasting precious time & money, you better stroll through town, watch people, go to the market, have a bite in a little bistro and eventually do 2-3 sightseeing "highlights" yourself. Either the town has definitely nothing...More

This little train is the one with a dozen or so carriages that travels along roads with commentary for tourists. The accommodation was fairly basic, a flimsy thin chain serving as a door between you and busy main roads, while the "train" whizzed along at...More

Very beautiful town with plenty souvenir shops. Le Petit train was a fantastic way to see this small town. Only 7 euros per adult for almost an hour ride with a 10 min stop to take photos of Napoleon. Town bustling with cafes and restaurants....More

Sadly we were unable to take the train due to the ticket office's poor communication. We arrived at 1130 to be told the next tour was at 1230 and we could buy tickets 10 minutes before. We returned at 1215 and told that the train...More

The train takes passengers from the harbour and market area up to the monument of Napoleon at the top of the town as well as around some of the nearby streets which are so narrow that you could literally shake hands with the people sitting...More

Where can one get tickets for the Le Petit train ride in Ajaccio? Our cruise ship Queen Victoria will be there on Nov 1, 2016 from 8 AM to 5 PM. Is the stop close to where the cruise ship docks?

You get your tickets on the train. Ships dock right in the town and all the interesting sights are nearby. Walk down the quay, turn left at the promenade and the train(s) can be found in a tree lined square no more than 100... More

It leaves from the town square on the port end. The square is also where the outdoor market is held so you can walk around the market while waiting for the train. Enjoy!
