Took the Eurolines from Amsterdam to Paris. The station in Amsterdam is located in Druivendecht which is a 30 min train ride from Amsterdam Centraal. The eurolines station/office is only a 3 min walk from the train station. They had a dedicated "station" which is basically a covered waiting area with a few seats and a reception area. They had free toilets to use for customers which was good. Do not expect a well cleaned toilet but at least there were one. The trip from Amsterdam to Paris was split between Amsterdam - Brussels and Brussels to Paris.

The bus from Amsterdam to Brussels was 30 minutes late. We then had another 90 minutes delay in Brussels. The stop in Brussels was unnerving. It is adjacent to the train station and which were filled with many homeless people living underneath the station. We had a few wandering into the stop begging as well. We definitely did not felt safe. The stop had toilets but required payment.

Including traffic I think the whole trip took an additional 3 hours than expected. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for because they were 1/8th of the price of the train, but I will definitely rather forked out for a comfortable and quick train ride rather than going through the long and uncomfortable journey on a bus across Europe the next time.

Trip: Geneva, Switzerland to Lyon, France
Booked in December 2019 for a bus trip in April 2020 from the Eurolines website. Received email from Eurolines about the cancellation of the bus scheduled, mentioned in email about refund back to credit card, it didn't happen and there is no way to contact the company. In early April, I login the Eurolines website through my booking number, can cancel the bookings one more time, with a charge of Eur 2.5 per person deducted. One week is gone since then and no refund to my credit card.
Eurolines is not a responsible company that you cannot contact the company especially at the time you need help. I will never use this lousy bus company. NEVER again.

I was charged 2 euros each way for my 1 piece of luggage to be placed in the hold when in the website it says i can have 2 pieces for free. The first time they asked me for the 2 euros i called the help line and they were of no help. Second time, the driver didn't speak english so talking to him was of no use. I called the number again, the same lady picked up and she remembered me. She was very annoyed i was calling again and literally hang up on me.

The bus was fine in terms of confort but the fact that drivers are asking everyone with larger luggages (within the limit) for 2 euros apparently on a regular basis and the company doesn't care the least and hangs up the phone on you shows a complete lack of character and disgusting business practices. I will never book a trip with Eurolines again and will advise everyone to do the same.

I only tried twice in my trip, San sebastian and Bayonne.
Both are late, One late 30mins and the other later for 2h20mins.
No notification, no update on their website, no one picking up calls etc.....
They just left everyone waiting for them.

Amsterdam Duivendrecht to Paris Galieni and back 10-12/1
The good stuff : Bus departed from Duivendrecht on time. The bus was OK - it was clean and looked well maintained but there is not a lot of legroom - its similar to economy class on a plane. Luckily it was only about a quarter full, so plenty of room (2 seats) for everybody. Arrival and departure Bruxelles (only stop) also on time as was the final arrival in Paris.

Going home from Paris, we got to Brussels 30 minutes ahead of schedule so this time we had a slightly longer stop, just enough to get out and stretch the legs a bit which was nice.

The ticket was booked with Flixbus but it was in fact operated by Eurolines. Both companies are saying that they offer free wifi onboard. However this is not entirely true. When connecting I got a message saying welcome to blablabla, data limit is 200MB thank you for your understanding (something like that), so without any heavy streaming of any kind, halfway to Paris, i ran out of my 200MB quota so no more wifi for me. In addition, for the first half of the journey when i could connect, i continually got disconnected (every 5 minutes or so).

On the way home from Paris, wifi did not work at all, neither did the USB charger. So thats Eurolines idea of "free wifi"

You get what you pay for though, and the price i paid for the ticket is unbeatable. There is only 1 stop (in Bruxelles) and unfortunately the stop is just a few minutes - would have been nice with a 10-15 break. I would have preferred going either by train or fly, but the prices for both were very high because they had to be booked at very short notice. I will go by bus again if I have to, just dont expect much. But at the end of the day, both trips were on time. Wifi poor or nonexistant drags down the score - if you dont have it, dont flaunt it!!

The bus arrived almost 2 hours late and was not even a bus from the initial company. No one could inform us of the delay, the WIFI wasn't working so for a 7h30 trip (that was supposed to be 6 hours) it was terrible.

The bus was over an hour and half late, no communication from Eurostar whatsoever. It’s winter and there’s 30 people waiting in the blistering cold in Lyon clueless. Not to mention the company demanded we all print physical tickets even though the tickets themselves are just QR codes. Driver didn’t apologise for the delay, was surly and rude. Appalling company. AVOID.

1. Bus is old, bumpy
2. Staff blocked first 4 rows of the bus seats, claiming that it is "reserved", but no one boarded the bus or sat at those seats
3. No wifi on the bus
4. Our bus arrived Netherlands 2 hours earlier than the scheduled time.
We were supposed to arrive at 5.55AM. We ended up at the Amsterdam train ststion at 3.55AM, trains had not even started running yet. We were forced to wait out in the cold.
If I could rate 0 stars, I would. We will not sit in a Eurolines bus anymore.

Bus arrived in Amsterdam nearly an hour early,
seats were comfortable, driver(s) were friendly!
The bus itself could’ve used a good cleaning,
hence a 4 of 5 rating!
