Whenever you think of Paris you think of the Eiffel Tower, and it is as impressive as you might imagine to stand underneath, but honestly I think you get better views of Paris from Sacré-Cœur or from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Full disclosure: we were unable to go to the top floor on our visit due to... More

It was fun, didn't like queuing but who does. Was very cold but glad we saw it even though it was freezing cold which I think is why we could only go to the second level.

When I see monuments than have been over publicized I tend to be very underwhelmed when I see them in person. This was slightly no exception, other than its the Eiffel Tower. The view from the top of the tower was gorgeous though. Bought tickets in advance ( would recommend this highly) and it was pouring down ran that night,... More

Long overdue review. Trip was back in 2015. I arrived at around 2:30 pm and it took me 2 hours to get to the summit. Massive lines at the ticket booth and elevators going up the tower. The wait was really worth it. On the same day, I returned on the evening to witness the lights while eating a crepe.... More

An amazing experience, and a total MUST if you're in Paris. I suggest purchasing a "skip the line" pass or do a group tour. Having done the tour, I was impressed with our guided his knowledge of the buildings an landmarks visible from atop the tower.

We decided to celebrate the first night in Paris by enjoying the view from the tower. There was a very strong wind and for this reason the top floor was closed to visitors. We reached as far as the second floor, tried to resist to the wind as much as we could and enjoyed the view, definitely amazing.

What can I say about the Tower? It is absolutely amazing! It is a very suggestive place during the day, and an extremely romantic one during the night!

Not a secret so be prepared to wait in a queue but the views once you get up to the top are very well worth the wait. There are stairs or lifts to suit your energy levels and your wallet. There is even a restaurant, the Jules Verne should you feel like splashing out on a meal with a view! The... More

My mother's first trip out of the US was to Paris. Took her to see the Eiffel Tower without explaining the top of the hour "twinkling" She giggled like a little kid! Was wonderful.
