Lines were long and unless you are staying in Paris I wouldn't stand in line to go up. Seeing it at night with all the lights is a must, absolutely stunning.

What can one say about Eiffel. It's a huge structure which looks magnificent from every angle. Try to visit just before sunset so that you can see it in day light and also illuminated.

I actually think the tower looks it best when the weather is dark and dismall - even rain did not hurt! A must.

I was blown away with the eiffel tower. We went to the top twice and also had a meal in the restaurant which was well worth the money. The views were amazing

It's the Eiffel tower, the view (70km) on a clear day is fantastic. We went as part of a skip the line tour and enjoyed our visit a great deal. The only downside is that the lift operators do like to stuff there lifts as full of humans as possible, possibly as part of some kind of Guinness world record... More

I love seeing the Eiffel Tower, especially at night. It is quintessential Paris after all. Ironically, you do not need to goto the top or inside it at all, because the best views or Paris are with the tower in it. By all means goto the base of the tower to experience just how massive this tower is. Pictures cannot... More

Eiffel is the land mark structure of Paris. Although I lked other architects in Paris than this. WE saw from hip-hop bus, did not go closer, it was raining and maintenance was done. Evening lighting was spectacular.

Excellent views from all levels but do not waste your time or money going all the way to the top. Long waits and the view is not that much better.

We took the stairs from the base to the first floor then more stairs to the second floor - very tiring but well worth it. If you do take the stairs and want to go to the very top, make sure you get a ticket from the lower of the 2 tiers on the second floor, before queuing up on... More
