A beautiful architectural wonder with a lovely park to sit and enjoy a beautiful afternoon. We always try to visit the Marais when in Paris and it makes for an enjoyable walk. The Place itself is beautiful and browsing the unique shops located there is...More

Go there during the week, at the week-ends there are too many tourists - like yourself... Lovely quarter, wonderful parks and restaurants, hint: the Swedish (!) cultural center near Place des Vosges. Nice place, nice staff, wonderful cake and quiet room and garden.

Another building and gardens done so well, a peaceful area that dates back several centuries and lucky people live right next to it.

Place des Vosges is a must-see quarter in Le Marais. It has always been a favourite spot of mine, since my student days studying French in the eighties. I absolutely love the trees in the square and local people picnic, read or sunbathe in stunning...More

The Place des Vosges is our favorite spot in Paris. Located in the Marais, it has a unified design and is the oldest planned square in Paris, built in the early 17th century. It is surrounded by red brick buildings rising above a grey stone...More

The Place des Voges is absolutely gorgeous...there is a beautiful park surrounded by brick apartments that are not to be believed. It is a wonderful park for a picnic lunch. A definite must while in Paris.

Maybe it's because my husband re-proposed to me here, but I think this is a very romantic spot to sit on a bench with someone you love. The symmetry of the Place is very appealing and it is an historic spot (if you love history).

restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner,
you'll come across little gems of architecture
spanning the centuries, from understated medieval
towers to classical libraries and 17th century
splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of
