If at all possible go early in the morning and don't take a bag/purse. This will speed up your entry. It opens at 7:45. We arrived about 8 am and walked right in. By afternoon, the lines snake across the area out front. The treasury...More

Majestic view coming over the bridge from Quartier Latin. Lots of people lining up to enter the church. It’s worth the little wait.. the inside is beautiful!

Does it need a review? It's big, it's old, and it's incredibly beautiful, inside & out. Lines are crazy - it is slower in the evening

But the line through the vast area in front of the cathedral moved very fast while I waited for my granddaughter to do the towers tour. Can't ignore this great place!

The inside is beautiful! You can visit anytime even during mass times. The bell tower is a hike up narrow steps to the top to a great view of the city!

The cathedral is massive with many really striking pieces. Recommend the audio guide, though there is an option for a free guided tour by language in the afternoon. Your audio guide includes the treasury (so it pays for itself)

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
