Sempre bellissimo e ben organizzato.
Opere ancora meglio fruibili rispetto a tanti anni fa.

This is an amazing museum. There is so much to see. The ancient art and carvings, the paintings and sculptures, and of course, the Mona Lisa are fascinating.

I've always loved art, even as a child, and the Louvre has been the #1 museum on my list to visit for so many years. Now, I can remove it from my bucket list because I made it to the Louvre and it was everything I imagined! It's large, crowded, filled with incredible art, you'll need months just to go through each gallery to fully appreciate the amazing works of art and objects here. I spent four hours here and I barely scraped the surface of what the Louvre has on offer. The audio guide is worth the 5 Euros and essential in providing context to the most famous works of art you'll see. Naturally, the showstopper is the Mona Lisa, which I made a beeline for the moment I entered the museum. I've read about the Mona Lisa since I was a kid and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. It's smaller than you think, demure and humble, just ignore the hundreds of gawkers (me included) gawping at it behind the barrier. Even if you're not an art lover, I think most people would enjoy spending a few hours at the Louvre, soaking up art, beauty and culture. You won't regret it.

Mantegna, Leonardo, David, Delocroix e tanti altri. Da vedere davvero!

I think you can only find that tour booking through the Louvre website. It kept the tour short and catered to children, telling them to sit when they could so they could rest their legs. It was a great highlights of the muesuem tour, perfect for such a large space.

Το μουσείο είναι ένας τεράστιος χώρος με μοναδικά εκθέματα αριστουργήματα τα οποία πρέπει κανείς να επισκεφτεί και να τα θαυμάσει.

Amazing collection that can be appreciated by even folks who aren’t art connoisseurs! Plan to spend about 3 hrs and pick a handful of things you want to see ahead of time to help map out your visit — otherwise you’ll swirl at the amount of stuff inside. And don’t forget to look up…the ceilings are incredible, especially inside the Crown Jewels area. Our favorite was the Egyptian antiquities which even feature a mummy and sphinxes.

I loved visiting the Louvre again as my last visit was in my teens 35 years ago. We avoided going to see the Mona Lisa and made a beeline for the Egyptology section and the displays of French paintings. Highly recommended, even if you haven’t booked in advance.
