We found Vangogh’s apartment, and read about Picasso. The narrow cobblestone streets with spectacular homes and adorable restaurants were particularly appealing. This is a must see place. Even though it rained all day it was most memorable. Amazing.

What a great place to stay and explore. Places of interest include Basilica de Sacre Couer, Moulin Rouge, Cimetrie de Montmartre and an amazing choice of intimate restaurants. We were able to walk and explore most of Paris from the area. I would not hesitate...More

Visiting Montmartre is an absolute must with the beautiful views of the city and the church is very beautiful! We got a bit lost in the streets afterwards and arrived in a very bad zone very quickly, so be careful where to go!

This would be very high on my list of things you must do while in Paris. The "neighborhood" square has all kinds of artist out painting and selling their art. Very fun. Restaurants and Bars all around.

Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and
styles which changes from one street to another. Ride
the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the
steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the
Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The
church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano
bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers
thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy

Depends what you are looking for. If you are into nightclubs, the action picks up only at night. The famous Moulin Rouge shows are at 9 pm and 11 pm. I have gone to the Moulin Rouge 11 pm show (which ends past midnight) and... More
