Yes it's an identical statue, just smaller and done by the same artist at the same time he made the big one in New York. This one is on an island in the middle of the Seine where one can sit and enjoy the views of the Front de Seine urban renewal development.

The one-quarter scale Statue of Liberty replica located on Île des Cygnes, a tiny island on the Seine on the western side of the Pont de Grenelle(about a 20 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower). You can take a stroll along the river to go check the Statue from close up. Ile aux Cygnes, it’s a nice tree-lined island with... More

Was actually really good. Saves heaps of money on going all the way to New York to be shouted at while you look at the thing. Can't walk up it (too small)

This will be surprise photo for many not to expect from Paris. There is nice walking path leading to Eiffel tower and also small playground under bridge.

If you thought there was only one of these your wrong! Enlightening the World, commonly known as the Statue of Liberty, 22 metres tall and facing west in the direction of its larger sibling in New York City. Inaugurated by President Marie François Sadi Carnot on 4 July 1889,[3] nearly three years after its US counterpart, it was given to... More

An interesting smaller version of the original gift from France to the United States. It is a pity that it is down the Seine River from the Eiffel Tower. Good to see if you have the time and it is visible from the top of the Eiffel Tower

A lousy attempt to mimic the success of the one in New York. If only other interesting things were close to it...

Interesting reproduction of the NY Liberty given to the US by the French. This one, on the Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the background, was a return gift to the Parisians by the US. And that sign of friendship makes it an interesting site on the river walk away from the Eiffel.

You think of New York, you think of the Statue of Liberty, it is an icon of New York and there are many different ways you can see it. You could take a helicopter ride, sail past it on a boat or simply catch one of the many ferries going that way, that’s what we did and we spent a... More
