This is OK, not much to add to the other reviews. For a very authentic local experience you could take a short walk to the Place Monge market as well.

This is just a fabulous place on a Sunday morning. They have old Parisian singing and dancing to a man on an accordion. If you close your eyes you could be back in the 19th century. You are handed song sheets so you are encouraged...More

A pleasant hour or so looking at stalls followed by lunch in the lovely Vietnamien restaurant. Drinks down the bottom in little square under the trees also pleasant. Quirky shops. Go via Plac3 Monge metro station.

A feeling of old Paris here - genuine food producers and sellers stretched along the pedestrianized narrow street. Recommend getting what you like to eat for a picnic and sit in the square to enjoy - weather permitting.
