Went on Sunday as a part of my visit of the Luxembourg palace and gardens. Nicely decorated, well maintained and worth of seeing. Free entry.

We stumbled upon this after leaving the Pantheon. Entry was free and we got to see some beautiful architecture - definitely worth a visit if you don't want to pay or missed the Pantheon after close.

The Church is located next to Pantheon. It is the shrine dedicated to Saint Genevieve, saint patron of Paris. She is credited with exhorting Ng the population of Paris to perform acts of mercy rather than flee Paris when the city was threatened by the Huns in 451. During the French Revolution her bones burned and then her ashes thrown in the River Seine. However the original tombstone survived and now you can see it in the Chapel of Saint Genevieve.

This impressive and beautiful cathedral is a mixture of Renaissance, Baroque an Gothic architecture .It is located just behind the Pantheon. Admission is free ,candles available for lighting. Very atmospheric church, lovely chapels around, beautiful stained glass windows with lots of lights inside and an impressive organ.
Well worth a visit.

Very attractive church is next to the Pantheon, but is largely overlooked by most tourists visiting its more famous neighbor. Contains shrine honoring St. Genevieve, the patron sainte of Paris. Also contains the remains of Racine and Pascal. Beautiful interior as well. Groundbreaking in 1494 -- Completed in 1624.

This is a remarkable church for a few reasons. It is across the road from the Pantheon and appears to be largely overlooked by tourists. It is noteworthy because it contains the last remaining rood screen in Paris. It also has one of the oldest organs in the capital. It well worth a look if you are in the vicinity.

The best of Paris Latin Quarter and the final resting place of Blaise Pascal. An architectural masterpiece that evokes another era and is not overwhelmed with tourists.

This church is especially famous for having the most beautiful dorsaal in Europe, and one of the few remaining, but has much more to offer. But mind you; we were put at the door at 2pm because they closed (for lunch or siesta?)

A very beautiful church and absolutely worth your time. In fact: Spend more time here than in the Pantheon, there is more to see.

When I was in Paris many years ago this church was directly behind our apartment. So we had to visit for old time's sake. It is an interesting mix of architecture, but we always enjoy finding special places in out of the way churches. This also happens to be the resting place of St. Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris. It is very close to the Pantheon, but does not get nearly as many visitors, so it is quiet and one can explore in peace.
