The Zadkine, just south of the Luxembourg Gardens, is a great find. It's housed in the studios and house where he lived for forty years and this gives a real sense of his work. The sculptures are superb and the setting wonderful. Most of the...More

If you are overwhelmed by the Louvre, this is a perfect museum. Formerly the home, gardens and studio of sculptor Zadkine, this place gives you insight into how he and his wife lived in Paris. Tucked behind a five story building, is this priceless, private...More

This museum used to be the home and atelier of sculptor Zadkine and his wife, a painter herself. The garden is lovely, with some out-doors works. and the interiors show his work to great effect.

It was a lovely find, this quiet little sculpture museum! Zadkine's work are wonderfully displayed in what used to be his atelier... artfully placed within and outside the building! Hard to describe the loveliness, one must go and see to feel it!

It is a small museum but it was an inspiring visit. Some presentations can be better, but his art work is beautiful. It is worth a visit.

If you want to enjoy at the same time visiting a lovely museum and escaping from hectic Paris, this is probably the nicest option. You won't be disappointed anyway.

This small museum is worth while visiting. The art work is interesting (only sculptures) but what was really nice was the museums location and the fact that the artist himself had lived and worked in this small house and studio. Unfortunately, however, there is not...More

This is Zadkine's residence & atelier, finely restored and free (!) to visit. Hats off to Paris municipality - not because of the savings I made, but for the foresight and intelligence. Such a small place would not generate a lot of money anyway. Still,...More

Well worth a visit. The works are exquisite, and beautifully displayed. The garden is lovely. There is no charge, but you can get the audiophone guide for just 3 euros.

Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
