If you like architecture than a visit to Hotel de Ville is encouraged while in Paris. This has been City Hall for Paris since 1357. I think that it has been expanded upon since then and you should bring a wide angle lense because she...More

I was lucky to experience the night concert which went for the whole weekend. It was an electronica band who sang in English. Such a contrast to the Renaissance Revival architecture in the background. If you have a chance to experience something like that, I...More

A wonderful place to visit; the building has beautiful architecture, and the square has a carousel and is a lovely place to relax.

A very beautiful building, with an interesting story. We had a nice guide, who knew very well the history of the building and of Paris. A must see.

This public space is beautiful, but honestly, there isn't much to see after looking at the building and taking a spin on the carousel. However, there are often special events held in the space. These events are wonderful and varied: art exhibits, ice skating, food...More

this is a lovely, fairytale building, beautiful architecture, and in an excellent location between Rue de Rivoli and the Seine, across which one reaches Notre Dame Cathedral.

Sorry, but I have no idea! I doubt very much if the charge is going to be ruinous. Enjoy all the same!
Do I need a ticket or advance reservation to visit the building? Or is it possible to simply walk in and take a peek?
