I have been going to this restaurant for many years because it is conveniently across the Pont Neuf, a good meeting point for me and journalist friends from the Right Bank. The food and service are fine. Ten days ago, I came home without my eyeglasses and knew I must have left them there. I called and asked them please to look. After several calls, I was told they hadn't found them. I called this morning and was told to come, they were too busy to look, they had lots of eyeglasses, so I went over late morning. The restaurant was half full; the man at the reception said that he was too busy with his clients to look, even to open the drawer right before him. I found a young woman and asked if she could kindly take a look. She opened the drawer and there was one pair of eyeglasses, mine! I am lucky but I am not happy: this is the kind of "service" that gives Paris a bad reputation and it is a shame that this younger generation has not been trained to overcome discourteous behavior. We stumbled upon this restaurant after a day sightseeing. We had a nice table in the bar area, which was perfect. We had the lamb and steak and both were beautifully served on hot plates. The staff were attentive and helpful, without being intrusive. The wine was served well chilled and the atmosphere was noisy, busy and interesting. The decor is cosy with lots of dark woods and creaking wood floors.... We really enjoyed our meal which was lovely and un-rushed. Great choice of wines and menu. Perfect.…

We really enjoyed this restaurant in Paris arrondisement 1. Cosy ambiance (reco to ask for a table in back of restaurant like the library area). The menu and wine card was diverse and the courses qualitative and tasteful. Our serving lady had a good wine knowledge and timing of food during the evening was perfect.…

good location, convenient and accessible to public transport, very well groomed staff with polite and suggestive behaviour... a great fan of all the people who work here... food is good and i liked tuna the best... an good place for dinner and casual dining.
