I recommend you visit at night though quite packed but with Christmas lights out the walk gives you thousands of picture opportunities and lovely shops to stop over. The view from it to the Arch du Triumph is fantastic.

This is great in the summer but in Winter it becomes Paris the City of Lights. With a Christmas market that stretches for miles with every food, and culture you can imagine, this is a must see at night with the family. Great Christmas atmosphere and imaginative gifts for even the most difficult person to purchase for. It is a... More

We stayed off the Champs Elysees and this place is beautiful. It's a very long road which starts at the Arc de Triompe and ends at the park before the Louvre museum. The start of the road is high end shopping which we didn't do but it's basically similar to being in Sloane Square high street or equivalent. It was... More

This is the main shopping area in Paris. The avenue is quite large and it eventually runs into the Arc de Triomphe. I had no idea that there were so many people on this boulevard. There are many pubs and restaurants inside or outside in the open air. There are quite a lot of parasols in case it rains or... More

Tons of retail shopping, notably Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Nespresso, and all the other retailers. The Christmas markets are a must and don't waste your stomach space by eating from the vendors in the main drag, make sure you go into the alleys where the awesome food is. We missed out on the escargot, raw oysters, smoked salmon, fondue, champagne, beer... More

Champs-Elysees is a must see tourist attraction. It has all the elegant shops on this street and more. During this time of year there is also an incredible Christmas market running along a portion of this street-it is beautiful. Stop at Fouquet's and order a delicious glass of Rose Champagne and watch the people go by for an hour or... More

Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques.
