If you Love New York you will feel right at home on the Champs! Full of Americans and really crowded. The only time worth being there is for their Bastille Day Parade. Magnificent! Arc des Triomphe ofcourse is wonderous but you don't have to be...More

Lots of restaurants and cafes for all different tastes and price points. Lots of different shops. You can have breakfast, then hit the shops for a few hours. Alternatively, take the day and spend up! Wear comfortable shoes, you'll need them.

It's the Champs Elysees so you should take a stroll just because you're in Paris and you should be planning to climb the stairs up the Arc de Triomphe anyway. Other than that, it's basically a lot of chain stores and nothing special.

There are tons and tons of shopping stores in this area some of course are very expensive. It's a nice place to walk and window shop, and grab some gelato.

Had a very expensive coffee at Nespresso on the Champs Elysees. People watching was interesting as was the view of the Arc de Triomphe.

Whenever you visit Paris visiting this venerable and famous area is mandatory. The energy and electricity in walkind down the Champs-Elysees is palpable. This area houses some excellent shops, stores and bistros. Take my advice: visit this parisian area. You won't regret it.

We did not visit any shops except the Paris Saint Germain store for a jersey for the hubby, but it was a nice area to stroll through and window shop.

This area is characterized by its namesake avenue

Yes, especially Chanel, but also Prada. My wife bought one of each. The streets with the high end stores are St. Honorie, and Montagne.
