What an enchanting little market! We had tried to visit about 4 or 5 of Paris' markets first up of a Saturday morning and this was by far the most "bustling". There was still plenty of space to walk around and you were served very...More

The market is a nice one and a cute place to visit while at Marais, yet if you seen open air markets (it is covered so you can visit on a rainy day) it will not be something new to you. You got small benches...More

We had planned to go to a different restaurant close by but by chance stumbled into this gem of a market. Fresh food, prepared before your eyes, a predominately local crowd and very friendly waiters made this a great experience. Try the oysters and the...More

This market is located in the north part of Le Marais, 3rd arrondissement and it is the oldest covered market in the city. It was opened in 1628 and got his name thanks to children from nearby orphanage wearing red clothes and probably sneaking around...More

We had wanted to take it easy during our 8 days tour to Paris and visiting the local market is a must do list for me being such a foodie. We took bus from near Seine river, around 15mins bus ride. Market is quite small,...More

Of course, you expect a market buzz with activity early in the morning. It may be Paris's oldest food market, but the offer is not particularly impressive, except for the fishmonger.

Just a few vendors with not so special French products to be found here. Space is occupied with lots of (empty) chairs of some small restaurants. May be when it's sunny weather you'll meet here all the other disappointed tourists. If you want to see...More

I don't know but I was there on Christmas Day and it was open but only a couple of stalls were active. I would think it will be more likely to have more stalls open on New Years Day than Christmas but I am not sure.
