I travel through Gare du Nord 3 or 4 times a year. It is not the safest train station in France but it is much better than before. It is a also bit cleaner. There many shops, bars, restaurants including a Starbucks!

Not a great experience. Nowhere to sit. Couldn't find a single chair. Filthy dirty. Freezing cold. Tried to lean against the wonky house and attracted so many beggars that I nearly forgot about the man snorting coke off a handrail or the drunks arguing over a cigarette. Inside the building is freezing. Only the floor to sit to take the... More

Left luggage facilities not up to par. Came down to drop off lugagge queued 40 min to be told there is no space then will need to queue another 30 minutes. This was on a typical Sunday do not count on Gare du Nord luggage facilities!!!!

First major stop if you travel from airport although finding ticket office was quite challenging. There is funny building just in front of entrance.

This is basically one organizational disaster and not up to standard for business travellers. The restrooms are not indicated. There are only a few chairs so 99% percent of the people need to stand and wait. And when your train is delayed yet again, you can enjoy working on your laptop standing up with wifi that doesn't work in the... More

Encouraged by Eurostar to "Skip the taxi queue" I booked a Cabforce taxi yesterday to "whisk us away" when we arrive at Gare du Nord this morning. On the train this morning I get a text telling me that my booking has been declined (even though I have a booking reference) because they are too busy. That is a useless... More

The station is very well sign posted and easy to navigate. The only down side is the 80 cent charge on the toilets.

Arrived by Eurostar from London. Quick, easy service and beautiful architecture. Wonderful welcome to the city. Immigration and customs cleared before leaving London.

As a first time visitor to Paris, we exited from the Eurostar from London and was immediately bombarded by at least a dozen Taxi solicitors asking us if we needed a ride, two guys actually trailed us for about 20 feet until we turned around to go back into the station to rethink what to do. We found an information... More

Departing for London. Queue is messy, long, not organized. I have my snowboard and they simply saying that too big to carry on board while i've travelling on train all the way from Budapest without any problem and with multiple layover and stop over before Paris. Miss 3 train timing because of that. Need to pay extra for checkin my... More
