We stumbled upon this tea shop and were pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the teas on offer. We decided on 'The des Lords' (Earl Grey) and are enjoying this at home. Not as expensive as some tea shops and without such a pedigree this is a place that we will return to on future visits.

We stumbled across this tea shop while on our Chocolate and Pastry Tour on Valentines Day in the Marais area - what a treat! The tea they were offering was "Chai Imperial" - absolutely delicious! Perfect on a cold, wet, wintery day. They have many, many different blends of tea and visiting one of their stores is well worth it.... More

Taste a new herbal as you enter. We chose a Morning F.O.P. and had to find out that meant "Flowering Orange Pekoe", a fairly common British Breakfast type. However this one was very fine and clean and tasted bright. We sniffed several China tea caravan disks for fun. All teas are loose and in tins and staff is helpful and... More

I was never anyplace near the shop listed in the title, on rue Raymond Losserand, but we bought a few times at the shop on the rue Vieille du Temple and buy by phone from their shop in Tel Aviv (!). They actually have many branches, and a French website, and an English (US) website. The specialize in teas, but... More

we've been drinking îlie maurice and earl grey fleurs bleues for years now and if you haven't tried those, you really are missing out. the shop in the marais is lovely. you can smell everything and the tea sellers are extremely knowledgeable about every single tea that they carry. my family and friends love the teas as gifts. check it... I'm surprised there's only one review here so far, so I want to add mine. This shop has multiple locations in Paris, as well as 2 stores in NY (and online ordering, at least within US). I've been to the location in the Marais (rue Vielle du Temple) and in the 6th (rue Cherche Midi). I'm guessing that the Marais... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
