One of the most beautiful bridges ever. A must see on your visit to Paris. Ride or walk over it. Enjoy the beautiful works of art and sculpture.

If you have seen any movie filmed in Paris, its rare that Pont Alexandre is not pictured. It is the most beautiful, happening and historic bridge on Siene inside Paris. It was built during the universal exhibition of 1889 (100 yrs of French Revolution) where...More

You need to see this from all angles, on the river, on the bridge and at night, it's magical with the lights on.

Beautiful and quintessentially Paris! Be sure and linger day and night as often as possible. Also lovely from the affordable river cruises. The most notable of all the many city bridges.

Never thought I would review a bridge! This a beautiful structure; so beautiful, so ornate, so inspiring, that a couple was getting married on the bridge!! Not a quickie affair-- wedding gown, tuxedo , bridesmaids, groomsmen-- It's that cool!

If I had to describe pont Alexandre III, it would be flamboyant! It's a great way to make your way down to napoleons tomb and the Renoir museum!

I do believe there is a river boat restaurant underneath. But there are none near the bridge itself. Not a place to have a meal anyway - too busy and noisy with traffic.
Are there any attractions nearby to couple with this one during the visit?

It is really close to Champs Élysées. When we went in December the Xmas markets were a block away on the Champs Élysées. We caught the train to Arc De Triomphe, climbed to the top for the spectacular view over Paris, then... More
