We nearby so we go to this market almost every month. The fresh fruits and seafoods are our favorite. It's cheaper than the supermarket and sometimes the quality is even better. If your apt comes with kitchen, I highly recommend you to spend some time...More

Gorgeous, huge market. With everything you could hope for. From fruit and veg stalls over butchers and fish mongers to clothes and bags and household items. Wonderful to stroll along and get some fresh food.

We went here on a Sunday morning and had the best time perusing the booths. Managed to get a few gifts to take back home. Vendors werent overly pushy which was nice. Lots of food choices for a quick snack as well.

Nice place to get a coffee and look at all the food and stuff you can buy. Lovely street musicians give a nice atmosphere 😊

This market has a great selection of food from fresh vegetables to seafood, meats and cheeses. The fresh oysters were some of the best we have had anywhere in Europe. There are also stands where non-food items are sold but the real reason to go...More

The Bastille market is good to visit if you want to buy fruit, meat, fish or clothes, but it is a functional market first and foremost, not a tourist attraction. There is nothing particularly interesting to differentiate it from any other market, although it is...More

Have a taste of some local food, fresh veggies and fruits. It’s a local market full of ready to eat and fresh food items. Plus there are small stalls and shops selling clothes, paintings, antiques etc. Good experience.

Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards

I got curious about the word la botte and checked Wiktionary. The expression la botte have various meanings and one of them "a bundle (of flowers)".

Bastille market is... a market. You can buy fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish and different kinds of meats. You can purchase bread or sample various kitchens. If you're looking for cheap make-up, look elsewhere.
