Neighbourhood: Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighbourhood where real Parisians make their homes.

Neighborhood parish church, simple, charming and lovely. Off the beaten path in a great neighborhood. Was Louis XVII buried here?

A quaint charming church. Built in 1624 and intended for the inhabitants of the Faubourg St-Antoine, turned into a parish in 1712. The church houses some artistic treasures including the All Souls chapel decorated in trompe-l'oeil by Brunetti. The lamentation of Jesus by Dorigny (16th century). Organ by Stolz (1873) with 2 keyboards and 18 stops. Very vibrant stained glass windows. Well worth a visit if in the area.
